EXPERIENCE OF PEYOTE STITCH IS ESSENTIAL. This pattern is for experienced beaders and comprises a peyote stitch chart, word map and a list of the Delica bead colours I used to produce the brooch above (see also below for colours used). You can choose to keep the panel flat, or roll the top over, like a hem.
The pattern DOES NOT include peyote stitch techniques.
The chart could also be worked in brick stitch if you are more comfortable with it.
Finished panel measures about 5cm wide and 6.3cm high (excluding hands).
I used the following colours of Miyuki Size 11 Delica beads
White: DB351 x 345; Background Blue: DB1137 x 1137; Date: DB1157 x 94; Red: DB727 x 73; Orange: DB722 x 46; Yellow: DB721 x 62; Green: DB2126 x 49; Blue: DB659 x 42; Indigo: DB730 x 27; Violet: DB1379 x 24
I also added a brooch pin (approx 3.5cm) and 1 pair of hand charms.
