Making a purchase – UK customers
Use the links from the home page to browse our shop and ‘add’ the items you want to your shopping basket. When you have finished click on ‘Basket’ where you will see a list of the items you have chosen. You can update the item quantity or remove an item from your basket.
If you have a coupon code, then you can enter it to apply your discount. You have the option to provide a different address for shipping and also tell us any other information in the notes box.
Any shipping charges will be shown. PLEASE NOTE that downloads and virtual orders such as workshop bookings are included in the order value for shipping calculation purposes.
There are 4 ways to pay.
By debit/credit card
By cheque – please send us a cheque
By phone – please ring us to pay by debit/credit card
You will receive an order acknowledgement by email. You will receive another email once your order has been completed and packed for posting to you.
Postage, packing and delivery – UK customers
UK deliveries are posted free of charge where the order value is over £25.00. A charge of £2.50 will be added to UK deliveries where the order value is £25.00 or less.
Where parcels are sized for Letter or Large Letter, delivery will be by Royal Mail (First Class) and this is our preferred method whenever possible. For larger parcels, delivery will be by Royal Mail First Class Parcel Post and these may take up to 3 days to be delivered to you.
If all of the items are in stock I will post your order to you on the next working day. Out of stock lines can be substituted, refunded or put on back order. If any of your ordered items are out of stock I will contact you by telephone or email before I dispatch any part of the order.
When you receive your goods please check them as soon as you can.
If you want to return any or all of the items you must ring us on 01254 236049 within 7 days of receiving the goods. You are responsible for taking proper care of the goods whilst in your possession and re-packing them securely. You will be required to pay the cost of posting back to us and you should get a free proof of postage certificate from the post office.
In the event that any item is damaged or faulty you must ring us on 01254 236049 within 7 days of receiving the goods. A replacement or refund will be offered. If we ask you to return the faulty item to us we will refund your postage costs.
Making a purchase – Overseas customers
Orders for delivery outside of the UK cannot be made using the online shop. This is to enable us to get the best shipping rates for you, but also applies to patterns that are to be downloaded. Email a list of what you would like to order (or send a screenshot of your basket) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your order is only for patterns to be downloaded, we will send you an invoice with a link so that you can pay by card. Once payment is complete, we will email your pdf pattern to you.
If your order is for goods to be shipped, we will calculate the best shipping rate based on the value, weight and size of the parcel and tell you what the total cost will be. You can then agree to pay the amount shown, or cancel your order.
If you agree, we will send you an invoice with a link so that you can pay by card. Once payment is complete, we pack your order and tell you when it is on its way.
