A beautifully festive tea light cover designed by Kathryn Halfpenney for that special romantic event, but that can be used for any occasion.
This pattern introduces a tubular peyote and tubular peyote with herringbone increases. Full instructions with diagrams, photographs are provided, but previous experience of general beading and peyote stitch in particular is essential. You will use size 11 Delica beads in 2 colours and size 11 seed beads in the same (or similar) 2 colours – see below for quantities. You will also need size 8 seed beads in the contrast colour, some jewellery elastic to join the hearts and a dab of jewellery glue or clear nail varnish.

Beads required
For tea light cover – Delica size 11 in 2 colours – Top and text (gold in photo) 5g, background (white in photo) 4g
For hearts – Size 8 seed beads x 9 (1 bead for tip of each heart), Size 11 seed beads in 2 colours to match cover – Bottom of hearts (white in photo) 8g, top of hearts (gold in photo) 7g
