Instructions with diagrams and photographs are provided over 16 pages to make a beaded Orchid flower with a diameter of approximately 10cm (4”) excluding raindrops

Experience of peyote stitch, circular peyote stitch and herringbone increases is essential.

Description

Suggested materials – I used Miyuki seed beads and the colours I used for the 2 Orchids shown are provided in the pattern.

Size 11 seed beads in 5 colours: 16g x Main petal colour; 5g x Contrast petal colour; 5g x Main leaf colour; 1g x Contrast leaf colour; 2g x Crystal or Crystal AB

2g x Size 15 seed beads to match Contrast petal colour

Accent beads: 1 x Size 6 seed bead in silver lined gold; 3 x 6mm bugle beads in silver lined gold; 3 x 3mm bicone crystals in orange; 3 x top drilled teardrop beads 13x6mm in crystal AB; 9 x 4mm fire polished rounds in crystal AB

1 x 25-30mm brooch pin

2 x 35mm felt circles in green (optional)

You will also need your usual beading equipment.
