This design by Kathryn Halfpenney is offered here as a download or printed chart. Each panel measures approximately 50mm high and 28mm wide, and is suitable for our Slimline range of pens and pencils, and others that have a barrel length of 51mm and diameter of 6.7mm.

You will receive a colour chart and peyote word chart for this design. You should have experience of odd count peyote stitch and zipping, as well as reading a colour chart and /or word chart. A technique sheet for Odd Count Peyote is provided with the download copy as a separate file or you can order a printed copy here.

Description

You will need size 11 Miyuki Delica beads in the 2 colours shown in the pattern (or your own choice), as well as your usual beading equipment, including needle, thread, bead mat, and scissors.

PLEASE NOTE that the charts are based on a pick-up of 39 beads for rows 1 and 2. Individual tension can affect the number of beads actually required, so you should work a maximum of 5 rows and then check the height against the barrel. You can then adjust the number of beads and pattern as necessary. If you have any difficulties working out the correct way to adjust your pattern, please get in touch for assistance.
