I have produced a word chart for my popular Precious Chevron Bracelet and it has now been included in the online pattern.
At the same time as testing the pattern, I made up a new colourway that was so liked by my bead group members, that I decided to make it available as a kit. So here it is….
The other 2 colours are also still available, and the colours that I use for all 3 bracelets are included with the pattern.
Launched at Haydock Park in April, this starter kit is now available on our website.
Our Beader’s Project Box, Beginner’s Guide and 3 x Drop In To Bead Kits will be supplied with your choice of Canvas Tote or Jute Shopping Bag. International Beading Week is organised by the Beadworkers Guild and will run from Saturday 22nd – Sunday 30th July 2023
On Thursday 27th we are hosting a workshop especially for new beaders. This is our first event of this kind for several years, so I’m really looking forward to a fun-filled day. I’m sure Gordon will be making a lovely cake, and with just 6 places available, there will probably be more than 1 slice each – or is that just naughty!

This A4 Slim Tuff Box by Tiger Stationery contains a bead mat that has been hand-cut to size and a set of labels. Inside you will also find a large organza bag containing a set of alphabet beads to identify those kit components, a pack of 4 size 10 beading needles by John James, a pair of Lift & Snip scissors to snip those threads, a pencil to make any notes on your pattern, and a bead scoop to get your loose beads back in their bag or box. We had a wonderful day at Haydock Park Bead Fair yesterday. I even managed to make some unique nail art to get myself in the festive spirit. I doubt that they will last until the Coronation, so I will probably have to do them again, but I will always have my charms! Cheers!

Yes, you read that right! We made a special purchase from a company that was closing down and took all her remaining Delica beads into stock.
There are varying quantities available, and we have less than 10g for 39 colours so they are currently only available “By the Gram”.

This Daisy Necklace Kit is the latest addition to our Drop In To Bead range. Suitable for new and experienced beaders, the kit contains the 3 colours of Miyuki seed beads needed to make a necklace up to 61cm (24″) long, that has 3 strands of daisy chain. A lobster clasp and soldered jump ring are also included, along with a beading needle and Nymo beading thread.
The design is also available as a pattern to download, or you can request a printed copy.
After another couple of days and weighing and counting, all kits (that we have the beads for!) are back in stock, including our Union Jack flag, so you can get ready for May 6th.
Most of the Delica Bead Packs are now available, and as soon as we manage to get some more DB310, then Red Hat Lady, will join them.
Ever since I started making the fringe packs available a couple of years ago, I always ensure that my photographs reflect the beads I used in the samples, and are the same in the bead packs so that you know exactly what you will make.
It’s not always an easy task and I am having difficulty sourcing some of the beads used in Gaia, Karneval and Santa. Rest assured that I’m working to re-design these fringes with beads I can get more easily, and will make up new samples as soon as the beads arrive.
