Whether you bought the Posy Vase Pattern to make in your chosen colours, or bought the kit and broke the glass, these dainty shaped glasses are now available individually.

Our very popular Posy Vase Kit, previously only available in Purple, Pink & Blue, is now available in Yellow.  It is essential that you have experience of peyote stitch and reading a colour chart before trying this pattern, although full instructions with diagrams and word charts are provided. 

The pattern now includes word charts. If you have already got this pattern and would like the word charts, then please send me an email (kathryn@halfpenney.co.uk) and I will email a copy to you free of charge.

The Full Kit and Materials packs are now available in all 4 colours. They are perfect for dried, silk and real flowers, and look great with a small bunch of spring flowers, or with an LED tea light in place of the shot glass for a bit of mood lighting.

The pattern (£9.95) includes the instructions, colour charts & word charts.

The materials pack (£20.00) contains Delica beads, Needle, Thread & Shot Glass.

We have sent our condolences this week to Christina’s husband Val after her sad passing. You can read her obituary here

We do get a lot of interest in her beautiful designs and the loss of such a great talent will certainly be felt here. Val has told me that he will continue the business, and that beaders all over the world can continue to enjoy her work. He has also told me that Christina had finished beading one more piece of artwork that will be converted to a pattern for us to enjoy.

Beading is a fun craft and can also be about memories – Past, Present & Future. Whether it be using beads from an inherited stash to create something for yourself, beading for pleasure with friends, or making gifts to be cherished by others for years to come, we love beading.

General beading experience is recommended.

This beautifully bright bracelet measuring about 2.5cm (1inch) wide is made using Delica beads and peyote stitch. Some beading experience is recommended as charts are used, but full instructions, with diagrams, are provided throughout. Colour and word charts are both included within the 12-page pattern. This design has a beaded toggle, which is perfect for colour co-ordination, and as a great alternative to metal or magnetic clasps.

Welcome to my latest kit in our Drop In To Bead range, is suitable for new and experienced beaders.

My Evelyn Bracelet is named after my youngest grandaughter, whose birthday is today, 29th February.

This kit is just £7.50, and available in Diamond White and Jet Black. Each kit contains the pattern and all the beads, clasp, needle and thread that you need to make an elegant little bracelet.

Finally sourced a new supplier for the shot glass, and now have DB201 back in stock (yippee). This means that my Posy Vase Kit, designed by Marleen O’Reilly, is available once again.

The kit comes in 3 colours – Blue, Pink, and Purple, and is supplied with the pattern. If you already have a pattern, then a materials pack is also available. If you want to choose your own colours, then the pattern is available separately to download, or can be printed for you.

All of the size 6 Miyuki seed beads in our range have been reduced in price by 45- 50%.

I have just received our first delivery of date charms for 2024, that are just the perfect size for your beadwork.

Each metal charm measures approx 14mm wide and 6mm high (excluding loop). Overall height including loop is 9mm.

We have gold tone and silver tone charms available at just 30p each. Buy more and save, with our pack of 10 charms for £2.50.

After months of waiting, we have finally managed to get DB201 and DB202 back in stock. Not there with DB200, which was still unavailable from our wholesaler, but we’ll keep at it.
