We are trying to match our seed beads so that we have the same colours in 8s, 11s and 15s. It’s not always possible, but we have made a start and here’s what we have new for you this month.

I have also managed to source some wooden bobbins that are the same size as the Miyuki thread bobbin that was the inspiration for my Christmas Drum Decoration. Whilst stocks last (which will be a good long while!), a wooden bobbin will be in our kits. The bobbins are also available individually or in packs of 5.

Chris Manes’ final piece “Mad Hatter” has now been published and I’m placing an order next weekend. There are 29 Delica colours and I will make up bead packs as soon as I have the list – and the beads! Delica numbers will be posted in the product description as usual so that you can check your stash before you buy the pattern.

Our latest kit is now available in 3 fabulous colours, and loads of options. The glasses are stemless prosecco glasses and I love the way the vases look with water beads in.

The glass is a specific size, so a download copy of the pattern is not available. A printed copy of the pattern is supplied with a glass for £15.00.

Additional glasses can be purchased individually for £7.50.

This super little hanging drum decoration is perfect to upcycle empty KO thread bobbins, but thick white card and wadding work perfectly, and are included in the kit. My original 2-colour design is now available using the 12 colours of the IBW logo.

This Special Edition kit is now available to pre-order, with delivery in time for IBW 2024, and also includes a set of Alphabet beads to sort the 12 Delica colours on your mat. You can choose from opaque colours or silver-lined colours, and materials packs are also available.

Our Super-Net Bracelet Kit certainly got beader Lindsay Super-Excited! She loved the Super-Sparkle created by the Jet AB fire polished beads in our original kit so much, that she now has a beautiful collection with 5 colours. Lindsay also tweaked the pattern to create a narrower band and has 5 more bracelets in a stunning array of colours. There are several more bands on Lindsay’s beading mat too! I can’t wait to see those.

Since our delivery last week, we have managed to put many Delica beads back into stock. Including DB200! It had been out for months but we now have all those 4 elusive whites (DB200, 201, 202, 351) available.

We have also added some new colours, mostly seed beads, and here’s what is now available.

Whether you bought the Posy Vase Pattern to make in your chosen colours, or bought the kit and broke the glass, these dainty shaped glasses are now available individually.

Our very popular Posy Vase Kit, previously only available in Purple, Pink & Blue, is now available in Yellow.  It is essential that you have experience of peyote stitch and reading a colour chart before trying this pattern, although full instructions with diagrams and word charts are provided. 

The pattern now includes word charts. If you have already got this pattern and would like the word charts, then please send me an email (kathryn@halfpenney.co.uk) and I will email a copy to you free of charge.

The Full Kit and Materials packs are now available in all 4 colours. They are perfect for dried, silk and real flowers, and look great with a small bunch of spring flowers, or with an LED tea light in place of the shot glass for a bit of mood lighting.
