This charming kit (sorry, couldn’t resist!) is now available and is perfect for new beaders, as well as those with more experience.

The kit contains full instructions, with diagrams, and all the beads, wires, needle and thread that you need to make this charm in 6 different colours. They are ideal to identify those party glasses, cups or mugs. Each charm measures approximately 3.8cm (1.5 inches), excluding the wire.

If you have your own Superduos, size 11 seed beads and 6mm bicones, or you want to make different colours, then the pattern is available to download or you can order a printed copy. Patterns are priced at just £3.00.

This is my newest design for our Drop In To Bead range. These are ideal to make up in an hour or two and perfect for new beaders who just want to drop in and try bead weaving. Kits contain all the beads, needle and thread needed. Materials provided will make a bracelet up to 22.5cm (9″) long.

You will need to provide your own bead mat and scissors.

I designed this wreath as my family gift last year and it’s now available to buy as a pattern, bead pack, or full kit. The 16-page pattern includes diagrams and photographs and it is recommended that beaders have some experience of beading, particularly peyote stitch and right angle weave.

The Beadworkers Guild have themed this year’s event to celebrate the positive mental health impacts that beading has with the tagline: ‘HANGING IN THERE’ and with tassels as the main feature.

You do not have to be a member of The Beadworkers Guild to take part.

We do not feel ready yet to host an event and re-open The Beading Room for groups, but I will say more about our thoughts in my usual email at the beginning of August.

I have just added a pattern for a choker I wore for my nephew’s wedding last week. It is tubular peyote stitch using size 8 seed beads and drops. It’s really flexible and was so comfy to wear. I have previously made a bracelet using 2 different colours so I included a picture of that as well. It just you an idea what it will look like.

You don’t need any previous knowledge of the stitch as full instructions with diagrams are provided.

The pattern includes the colours of the beads I used. It is available as a download or printed copy and is on an introductory price of just £1 until the end of July. How’s that for a bargain!

Here are the new products that I have added so far. Only limited quantities are available so far so you may need to be quick.

Our range of Chinese bicones will not be restocked, and we are replacing them with a Preciosa range, made in the Czech Republic. To start us off I have chosen 38 colours and tried to get them in all 3 sizes. All I have to do now is find somewhere in The Beading Room to have them on display, and that’s easier said than done at the moment!
