Poppy Brooch Pattern

£9.95

Experience of peyote stitch and reading a peyote word chart is essential

This design by Kathryn Halfpenney remembers our fallen heroes and will be treasured for years to come.  The 12-page pattern explains how to bezel a flat-backed cabochon onto beading foundation and then how to add 4 petals for the poppy. The poppy is beautifully finished on the back with a felt-covered brooch pin.

Whilst instructions are provided, experience of peyote stitch and using a word chart is essential. The basic techniques explained are: Back stitch, Peyote Stitch, Chain Stitch, Edge Stitch, and Picots. See below for materials and equipment requirements.

The diameter of the  finished brooch measures about 5.5cm (2.25 “).

This design is also available separately as a full kit  (click here). A Special Edition kit is also available here.
